BMF Entertainment’s main rapper Bleu DaVinci was sentenced to five years and four months in federal prison, after being convicted for conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
The rapper was accused and convicted of distributing multiple kilos of cocaine starting around 2003 through a multi-city drug network controlled by Black Mafia Family’s founders, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his brother, Terry “Southwest T” Flenory.
DaVinci, born Barima McKnight and nine other remaining defendants in the government’s case against BMF were handed down sentences yesterday (October 29) ranging from 5 years to 16 in federal prison.
Prosecutors accused the BMF organization of running a massive, multistate cocaine empire based out of Los Angeles and Atlanta.
BMF, which was founded in the early 1990’s in Detroit, earned over $270 million dollars by distributing cocaine throughout the country.
Over 500 people were associated with BMF in numerous states, including Florida, Michigan, Georgia, California, Missouri and Tennessee.
In September of 2008, both Flenory brothers were sentenced to 30 years in prison each for overseeing the drug empire.
In addition to 40 other co-conspirators, the brothers’ 60-year-old father, Charles Flenory was even sentenced to 18 months in prison, for using drug proceeds to pay for renovations on Terry’s house.
In June of 2008, famed Hip-Hop jeweler Jacob “The Jeweler” Arabov was also sentenced to 2 ½ years in prison, for falsifying records and giving false statements to investigators and helping to launder the drug money.
Prosecutors believed DaVinci also took over BMF’s operations while the Big Meech, Southwest T and a third in command - Chad “J-Bo” Brown were awaiting their sentences.
Brown had previously refused to cooperate with authorities and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Three blockheaded teenagers were busted playing in a sewer Wednesday in Queens - after getting lost while pretending to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, police sources said.
Schiller Milfort, 16, of Hollis, and Marvin Ottley, 17, of Bellaire, along with an unidentified 15-year-old boy, were shirtless and in their shorts and sneakers when firefighters plucked them out of a sewer in Kissena Park.
The make-believe heroes were crawling around the sewer system when they got confused and lost their way, police sources said.
They were not injured, officials said.
"These three idiots were playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and wanted to go into the sewers," said one police source. "They were never in danger, just goofing off and being stupid."
Milfort and Ottley were charged with criminal trespassing. The other teenager was released to his parents.
T.I. Getting His Vote On
TMZ.com reports that T.I. found a “loophole” in the voting law that allowed him to cast his vote as a convicted felon yesterday.
But T.I. would have already voted if he was a regular reader of SR.com! I pointed out here that even convicted felons can vote as long as they aren’t on probation or on parole.
For a convicted felon, T.I. is pretty damn good at reading the fine print of the law — ’cause the rapper found a way to VOTE after all!
T.I. — who pleaded guilty to weapons charges last year — found a loophole in the Georgia law book, which allows a convicted felon the right to vote IF they’re not currently serving probation or a prison sentence.
Because T.I. isn’t expected to be sentenced until next year, dude still can exercise his civic duty.
And before authorities could change their mind, T.I. hit a polling place in Atlanta to lock in his ballot … cause like he says, in America — you can have whatever you like.

This was my baby's thought of the day, I stole this off of her facebook blog, and I couldn't have said it any better myself. My baby so smart lol, real talk though..
Life does not have to be a strain or struggle, sometimes we make life very hard for ourselves by making our own stress. We blind ourselves so that we cant see the good in anything or anyone. We refuse to count our blessing and we complain about what
we dont have. We critize, judge or in most cases blame others. We need to stop! And remember that we have choices good or bad they set the stage for whatever is to come. So when we give energy to struggle and strain we draw more of it into our life. Take control of your well-being through your mind, heart and mouth and make the chocie to always expect the best and get it!!! When you speak good
you will see it. Be human and feel your situations, but also be mature enough decide how it affects you and move on, you really do own that power. In life you live and learn thats what its all about. Just my thought for today..

Seventeen years ago, Ken Imhoff watched Cannonball Run and became so enamored with the Lamborghini Countach in the film, he hand-built his own, in his basement. In what we imagine might be the most Jalopnik build ever undertaken, Ken designed and fabricated his own tig-welded frame, installed a thoroughly massaged 351 cubic inch V8 with a ZF-25 5-speed transmission, hand-formed the aluminum body over a meticulously measured and accurate body form, and finished it all off in a beautiful metallic gray. It took Ken 10 years to complete the project, and the results — as you can see both in the gallery and in the video below the jump — are amazing. There's only one problem, when you build a car in a basement — how do you get it out? Read more, see more pics and a video here.

I Guess That's Lyfe
At this point I'm highly disapointed, feeling little empathy for this brother. Everybody knows in his music Lyfe seems to be a pretty righteous dude and he is always preaching about something. No one knows all the details, but him being a felone who has been given a chance to better his life and everybodies around him I would expect more. What are you doing fam.

R&B recording artist, Lyfe Jennings is facing felony charges after firing a gun and leading police on a car chase in Georgia over the weekend.
According to TMZ, at approximately 9:30 pm on Sunday, October 19th, Smyrna Police responded to a report of gunshots. As they approached the scene they spotted, Columbia recording artist, Lyfe Jennings (born Chester J. Jennings) leaving the area in his 2005 red Corvette.
Jennings, who was incarcerated from 1992-2002 on an arson charge, led the police on a chase, which ended when he crashed his car.
The 35 year-old crooner was arrested and charged with attempting to elude and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, which are both felonies. He also faces misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass, discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusal to take a sobriety test.
Lyfe was initially taken to the Smyrna Jail and was later transferred to the Cobb County Detention Facility.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has announced today that he’s bought out the popular streetwear clothing line ENYCE from Liz Claiborne Inc.
"Enyce is a brand that I have always admired, and they have been a very important player in the young men's sportswear arena for over a decade. I am really excited to bring it into our portfolio of brands that already includes Sean John and Zac Posen,” Diddy said in a release. “Given our track record of success in marketing products such as Ciroc Vodka, Unforgivable by Sean John, and all of our television titles, I look forward to adding our expertise to an already hot fashion line. Our long-term plan is to grow the Enyce brand through innovative marketing, expansion of the menswear and boy's lines, and launching into new licensing categories.”
The Sean John owner says that in spite of the current economic woes, he’s confident the purchase was a great investment. “The current economic climate may be challenging, but we believe it is also an opportunity, and we are really excited to add Enyce to our lineup.”

AllHipHop.com has confirmed that influential comedian Rudy Ray Moore AKA Dolemite passed away on Friday (October 17) due to complications from diabetes.
Moore began his career as a stand-up comedian in the late 1960s, and first gained international notoriety after co-writing and starring in the 1975, signature blaxpoitation film Dolemite.
Through characters like Queen Bee and the fast-talking, street rapping Dolemite, the movie has gone on to achieve cult status and provided a blueprint to assist emcees like Snoop Dogg, Lil Kim, and Too $hort in the development of their stage personas.
The success of the film spawned a 1976 sequel, Human Tornado AKA Dolemite II.
Moore recently completed a third film titled The Dolemite Expression, which is slated for release this spring.
While his over the top, raunchy content prevented him from having the mainstream success of contemporaries like Richard Pryor, Moore retained a loyal fanbase throughout his near 40 year career.
Aware that Hip-Hop was an extension of his rapid-fire street punchlines (“…rappin’ and trappin’ is my game!”), Moore embraced the culture and since the late 80’s has collaborated with 2 Live Crew, Big Daddy Kane, Insane Clown Posse, and Snoop Dogg.
A prolific performer in his own right, Moore was known as “the king of party records” for his prodigious amount of comedy LPs released since the late 60’s.
To date, Moore has a resume which includes 30 albums and 18 films.
At press time, funeral arrangements for Rudy Ray Moore are being finalized in Toledo, Ohio.

WOW Now that's hot.
I was at a lost for words when I saw this, The Sega Dreamcast is my all time favorite video game system and turns out some dude created his own portable one.

It took modder Jon Jandran (aka “Hailrazer”) about 90 hours of blood, sweat and tears to transform a kids toy called a “Lazer Doodle” and into an elegant case for his Dreamcast portable that looks as good as anything that could have come off of the SEGA assembly line.
The portable integrates a Sony PSOne 5″ LCD screen, an InterAct Quantum Fighterpad controller, stereo speakers and a battery pack which lets him play for about 2.5 hours on a single charge. Check out the video clip below to see the Dreamtrooper in action.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the Las Vegas PD went to re-interview the victim, but the people living in the apartment building claimed they had no idea who she was.

My New Toy
A few weeks ago I had reading some designers portfolio and she was talking about using a tablet. At first I didnt know what she was talking about then I had saw one and I was like wow I gotta get one of those its like a little pad that you can connect to your computer and use it to write, and draw. It aint nothing new, they have been out for a while and are used by all types of designers, artists and photographers. So the other day I grabbed one, a Bamboo by Wacom, and it is the sh*t to say the least.
I know I couldnt wait to play, I stayed up until like 530 in the morning the first night I got it. Check out my first illustration with my new tablet

Late
I have been running late all day, I woke up late. And its just like I have been behind all day. It's 10 o clock and this is my first post of the day. Its 2 things I probably hate more then anything and thats looking for stuff and being late. Is it better to be late then to not show up at all. Is it possible that when you think you're late that you're really on time and everything is going as scheduled.

The Boss?
Ricky Ross The Boss now admits he had in fact been a Florida correctional officer for 18 months. Photos originally surfaced of Ross (real name William Leonard Roberts) in July on the website TheSmokingGun.com. After seeing the pictures, Ross initially told AllHipHop.com the photos were doctored.
“Online hackers put my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples’ body,” said Ross. “If this shit was real don’t you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything? Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake.”
In subsequent interviews, Ross would go on to blame the uncovered photos on everything from digital manipulation to “haters.” But in the latest issue of Don Diva magazine, the Florida emcee changes course regarding his pre-rap career.
“Yes, it’s me,” Ross tells Don Diva. “I never tried to hide my past. I put my name inside my CDs. My company has my [Social Security number]. I could’ve put a company name…I done been up and I done been down and that’s what makes me what I am. I never ratted on a nigga. I never prosecuted a nigga. I never locked up a nigga, that’s first and foremost. I always felt that me being the nigga that I am, I never owed a nigga an explanation. When I’m making my music and I’m talking about blow, it’s because I did it. When I say that I’m rich off cocaine, it’s because I did it. Those are the street principals that apply.”
I feel like it is what it is he should have came out with it up front not that he owes anybody an explanation but. I feel if you gon tell your story tell the whole story and that goes for all mc's. Everybody wanna talk about the glory of hustlin, what about the rest of the story. Like even with Rick Ross he rap about hustlin and all the keys he flipped but oviously that wasnt his whole story, I think he should have talked about his experiences as a correctional officer, a high school student, at home situations anything. America needs to know about all the different things we go through not just selling dope.. So if you have a voice and everybody is listening and you decide to tell your story tell the whole story. Ride or Die for Obama

A man told today how he was shot three times in a London street for wearing a Barack Obama T-shirt.
Dube Egwuatu was buying a mobile telephone top-up card in an off-licence when the gunman confronted him and glared at the top, which carries an image of the Democrat US presidential candidate underneath the legend ‘Believe’.
The man then launched into a tirade of racist slurs, shouting ‘I f***ing hate n*****s’ and urging 36-year-old Mr Egwuatu to leave the shop with him.
The man then left the shop but when Mr Egwuatu re-emerged, the attacker was waiting for him in broad daylight with a threatening-looking dog and holding a gun behind his back.
Realising what had sparked the increasingly violent assault, the terrified Mr Egwuatu zipped up his jacket to cover the image of Mr Obama and walked to his car.
But the shaven-headed man, who was white, followed Mr Egwuatu and after pulling open the passenger door pointed the gun at him.
After pleading with the man to leave him alone, the married former street warden put the keys in the ignition and turned the engine on.
The attacker then fired the gas-powered ball-bearing pistol three times, hitting the civil servant in the face, hand and shoulder.
Fearing for his life and bleeding heavily, Mr Egwuatu raced away in his car and found somewhere safe to call for help.
He was taken to hospital and later sent to have a piece of metal removed from his jaw.
Mr Egwuatu, a data analyst with Croydon Council, said: ‘The venom in his voice was frightening.
‘He was telling me that he was going to kill me.
‘I couldn’t believe it was happening - and just because I was wearing an Obama T-shirt. He was trying to make me walk somewhere quieter, saying: ‘I’ve got something for you,’ and ‘I’m going to kill you.’
He added: ‘Obama inspires me, his educational track record alone is quite unbelievable - that is why I was wearing the T-shirt.
‘I did not think for one minute it could stir up such powerful feelings of hatred and I never said a word to him.’
Mr Egwuatu’s wife, Angela, 35, said neither of them had experienced anything like it during their childhood in Nigeria.
Mrs Egwuatu, an immigration officer, said: ‘At first my feelings were pure horror and now it is pure anger.
‘If he had been carrying a real gun I would have been a widow. It is just ridiculous.
‘I don’t know how a person’s mentality works. Why would a T-shirt get you to the point where you want to shoot someone.’
To the untrained eye, ball-bearing guns like the one used in the attack look every bit like a real firearm.
The potentially lethal weapons are often converted by criminals to fire real bullets, and can be bought easily in high-street shops and on websites.
The Met said it was investigating the incident, which took place in South Norwood, and that police searched a nearby house which the attacker was seen going into.
No one has been arrested.
